Camping
at Thousand Hills State Park
Thousand Hills State Park offers two campgrounds:
Campground 1 is open and reservable during the on-season (April through October) and offers basic and electric campsites, modern restrooms, showers, water and a dump station.
Campground 2 is open and reservable year-round and offers electric campsites. Modern restrooms, showers, water and a dump station are available during the on-season.
Current nightly camping fees can be found through the Fees and Seasons link to the right; nightly camping fees effective May 1, 2013, can be found by clicking here.
New Camping Option: Need a little extra space? Try one of the park's family campsites (sites 3, 21, 39 and 48 Campground 1). Rates can be found under Fees and Seasons to the right.
For weekend reservations, there is a required two-night minimum stay of Friday/Saturday.
During the off-season (November through March), potable water is available at the park office. However, larger RVs may have difficulty accessing it due to the small turning area.
Firewood is sold during the on-season only. Campers planning to carry in firewood must comply with current firewood advisories.
