Campgrounds 1 and 2 Temporarily Closed - Sam A. Baker State Park
Due to flooding, Campground 2 remains closed until further notice. Campground 1 also remains closed, but it will begin accepting campers on Monday, July 20.
All other areas of the park are open; this includes the Equestrian Campground.

Swimming - Sam A. Baker State Park
Several great splashing areas are available in both the St. Francis River and Big Creek. Enjoy wading, tubing and swimming in the cool, clear waters. Day usage is from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Swim at your own risk.
