Robertsville State Park Closed for Managed Deer Hunt Nov. 7 and 8, 2026
Robertsville State Park will be closed from 6 p.m. on Nov. 6, 2026, until 7 a.m. on Nov. 9, 2026, due to a managed deer hunt at the park. Only registered hunters and people working the event will be allowed in the park. Regular camping and special-use camping will be unavailable from Nov. 6, 2026, through Nov. 8, 2026.

Picnic Areas/Shelters - Robertsville State Park

Picnic Shelters
For large gatherings, you can reserve one of two nice picnic shelters for $60 per day. If not reserved, each is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Each shelter has electricity, a group grill and a fire pit and can accommodate up to 50 people. There is a water spigot in front of the shelters. For your convenience, there are flush toilets and a playground located in this area. Please note that water and restrooms in this area are available only during the on-season (April 1 through Oct. 31).

*Shelters can be reserved online from 30 days to 12 months in advance of the day of use. Reservations for arrival dates less than 30 days out can be made only by contacting the park.
