Cuivre River State Park Closed for Managed Deer Hunt Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2026
Cuivre River State Park will be closed from 3 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2026, until 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2026, due to a managed deer hunt at the park. Only registered hunters and people working the event will be allowed in the park. Camping will be unavailable from Oct. 30, 2026, through Nov. 1, 2026. This includes backcountry camping and special-use camping.

Swimming - Cuivre River
Refresh on a hot summer day at the public swimming beach on Lake Lincoln. A change house is provided. Swimming at the park is restricted to the beach area only. No pets are allowed in the beach area. Swim at your own risk.
