On the following days (actual or observed), staff will not be available and site buildings will be closed: Thanksgiving Day; Nov. 28, 2025; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; New Year’s Eve; New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Jr. Day; Lincoln’s Birthday; and Washington's Birthday.

7 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily, year-round

Gates may be closed at 10 p.m.

December-February

10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday-Sunday

Historic Site Office

8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, year-round

Please note there will also be times when the office is temporarily closed while staff are working in the grounds.
