CDP Open House and Annual Public Meeting

The public is invited to attend a hybrid meeting at Watkins Mill State Park and Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m. The event will consist of a town-hall style meeting followed by a conceptual development plan open house. It take will place in the visitor center.
Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the park and historic site. The public is encouraged to share comments about the facilities and their operations. The town hall is part of Missouri State Parks' annual public meetings initiative. These meetings are held are for all state parks and historic sites and help create two-way communication with the public.
The open house is being held as part of Watkins Woolen Mill's conceptual development planning process. As the long-range plan for the park and site is updated, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions, and provide input regarding future use and development of the park and historic site. A 30-day comment period will begin on June 17, with a survey available online.
