Open House: CDP Meeting and Annual Public Meeting

The public is invited to attend an open house-style meeting at St. Joe State Park on Saturday, July 18. This hybrid event will serve as St. Joe's annual public meeting and its conceptual development planning meeting. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and take at place at Shelter #1, located in the park's day-use area.
Annual Public Meeting
Annual public meetings are held are for all state parks and historic sites and help create two-way communication with the public. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the park. The public is encouraged to share comments about the park and its operations.
Conceptual Development Planning Meeting
The open house is also being held as part of St. Joe's conceptual development planning process. As the long-range plan for the park is updated, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions, and provide input regarding park future use and development. A 30-day comment period will begin on July 18, with a survey available online.
