Stargazing Event

at Crowder State Park

Crowder State Park is joining with Truman State University for a stargazing event during International Dark Sky Week. Truman State representatives will provide telescopes and binoculars and point out various celestial bodies, while park staff will explain the importance of dark skies.

This program is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Participants should bring a red light flashlight and a lawn chair or blanket for this nighttime event.
