Rural Heritage Day
Felix Vallé House State Historic Site is once again participating in Ste. Genevieve’s Rural Heritage Day festival. This annual event celebrates the rural traditions of Ste. Genevie and Ste. Genevieve County from the mid-1700s to the mid-1900s. Through live demonstrations and hands-on activities, guests will discover the importance of rural crafts, trades and entertainment.
This is a community-wide event with multiple locations in downtown Ste. Genevieve hosting public programs. Co-sponsors include the Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve, the Ste. Genevieve Museum and Learning Center, and the Centre for French Colonial Life.
All Rural Heritage Day activities at Felix Vallé House State Historic Site are free. Other sites may charge fees. For more information, call the historic site office at 573-883-7102 or visit the listing from Visit Ste. Genevieve.
