Public Meeting

The public is invited to an open house-style meeting for Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information about the historic site and answer questions. The public is encouraged to share comments and questions about the site and its operations.

The open house will take place at the Pershing Memorial Museum and Leadership Archives. It will begin at 10 a.m. and end at noon. For more information, call the historic site at 660-963-2525.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These public meetings, which are being held for all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give representatives the opportunity to let people know the current statuses and future plans for the parks and sites, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
