Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Public Meeting

On Saturday, Oct. 10, St. Francois State Park will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the expansion of the park’s campground. The ceremony will commemorate the opening of 62 new campsites: 20 with electrical service and 42 with full-hookup service. The event will begin at 11 a.m.

After the ribbon cutting, there will be an open house-style public meeting near the new showerhouse. Staff members will be available to provide information and answer questions about the park, and visitors will have a chance to provide feedback.

The new campsites are just across the road from the park's other campsites, in the southwest portion of the park. St. Francois State Park is located at 8920 U.S. Highway 67 N., 5 miles north of Bonne Terre in St. Francois County.
