Jones Bridge Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Join Missouri State Parks in celebrating the opening of the Ted and Pat Jones Bridge! 

This bridge, designed and constructed to allow for safe passage over a live railway, is the culmination of Ted and Pat Jones' final estate funding toward Rock Island Trail State Park. We will celebrate the bridge's opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, souvenir giveaways, and a trip across the bridge.

This free event will begin at the Rock Island Trail's Pleasant Hill trailhead at 10 a.m. It will last approximately one hour. Everyone is welcome, and there is no need to register.

The Pleasant Hill trailhead is located at the western end of the Rock Island Trail. It is along Highway 58/West Commercial Street in Pleasant Hill. The GPS coordinates for the trailhead are 38.784120, -94.278102.
