Historical Haunts at the Homestead

Join us at the Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead on Oct. 17 for our annual Halloween event: Historical Haunts at the Homestead.
Event Schedule:

| 6-8 p.m. | Drop-in program about burial traditions | Historic cemeteries (Boone cemetery and African American cemetery) |
| Drop-in program about traditional superstitions | Nathan and Olive Boone home | |
| 6-7 p.m. | Live music from folk duo EznDil | Picnic shelter |
| 7-8 p.m. | Night hikes – Learn about some of the site's nocturnal animals while strolling along pathways lit by lanterns and candles. | Each hike will begin near the shelter and proceed through the woods. |
All activities are free and open to the public; there is no need to register.

Things to Bring:
You are welcome to bring a lawn chair for the concert, but we should have enough seating at the shelter.
Most activities will take place outside, so please dress for the weather.
