Historical Haunts at the Homestead

Join us at the Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead on Oct. 17 for our annual Halloween event: Historical Haunts at the Homestead.

From 6-8 p.m., you can learn about burial traditions at the cemeteries and superstitions at the house, or go on a night hike and learn about some of the nocturnal animals at the park! Local folk music duo EznDil will be performing from 6-7 p.m. All activities are free and open to the public; there is no need to register. Remember to dress for the weather.

Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site is located at 7850 N. state Highway V, 2 miles north of Ash Grove in Greene County. Call the site office at 417-751-3266 if you have any questions or would like more information.
