Halloween Bash: It's Haunting in the Park

Calling all goblins, ghosts and creatures of the night. Join us for an afternoon of Halloween frights, fun, and friendly-family festivities! Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and trick-or-treat your way through the campgrounds as you search for sweet treats and spooky surprises.  

Be sure to make your way to the Mudlick Mountain Grill, where Halloween games, activities and food will be waiting.

Event Schedule:

  • 2-4 p.m. -- Trick-or-treating in the campgrounds
  • 2-5 p.m. -- Trunk-or-treat at the recycling station by the Mudlick Mountain Store
  • 3-6 p.m. -- Games and interpretive activities, free food, photo booth, and campfire and s'mores at the Mudlick Mountain Grill

Campers are invited to participate in the Eighth Annual Campsite Decorating Contest. Prizes will be awarded.

All activities are free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. The event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

Sam A. Baker State Park is located at 5580 State Highway 143 near Patterson. Free parking will be available in the lot next to Shelter 1 (37.259288, -90.505404).
