Afternoon Adventure: Pollinator Pop-Up

at St. Joe State Park

St. Joe is hosting a series of outdoor-themed games, programs and activities from mid-June to mid-October. These events are offered every Saturday afternoon except for the third week of June. Event locations include the amphitheater, playground and showerhouse in Campground 1, as well as Monsanto Lake Beach.

Everyone is welcome at these free events. The programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Check the park's Facebook page for updates.

June 13: Pollinator Pop-Up, 1-3 p.m.

July 4: Lake Life, 1-3 p.m.

Jump in and see what you can catch at Monsanto Lake! Learn about the critters that live below the surface, from tiny aquatic invertebrates to huge catfish. Meet at the green canopy at Monsanto Lake Beach.

Help the naturalist solve an animal mystery! Is it possible for a lizard to be legless or have a tail that shatters like glass? Meet at the amphitheater in Campground 1.

Join us under the green canopy at Monsanto Lake Beach to create your very own miniature boat and discover how the waterways of North America became the highways of today!

Aug. 22: Metamorphosis Movement, 1-2 p.m.

Frogs, butterflies, salamanders and more! Engage in yoga poses while learning about metamorphosis during this self-paced activity. Join us at the amphitheater in Campground 1.
