Due to construction on the Highway 215 bridge over Stockton Lake, certain areas under the bridge are closed to boat traffic. “No Wake” boat traffic is still allowed under the bridge, but only in designated areas. Please follow the buoys and signs posted in the lake. This will impact the Stockton State Park Water Trail and caution should be taken when paddling beneath the bridge.
The 215 Highway Bridge (Mile-long Bridge) over Stockton Lake will be closed for resurfacing beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. The bridge is expected to be closed until late May 2016. Guests traveling from the north, through the Stockton area, should expect a detour.
From Stockton: travel south on Hwy. 39 for 11 miles to Arcola; at Arcola, turn left, east, on Route Y for 9 miles to the junction of Route Y and Hwy. 215. Turn left (north) and follow Hwy. 215 approximately 4 miles to Stockton State Park.
