Accessibility Information

at Osage Village State Historic Site

This site has a fine gravel parking lot with one paved accessible parking space. A fine gravel trail has minimal slope to the first information kiosk. This kiosk is shaded inside.

The next segment of the trail takes you to the base of the hill. From the wooden boardwalk, natural turf replaces the gravel and slopes of up to 11% will be encountered. Near the crest of the hill is a small gazebo sheltering a map of historic sites located in the area. Benches are placed here for resting; however, a threshold of 3 inches exists.

The turf path continues, mostly level, around the crown of the hill with points of interpretation marked. An interpretive map of the site is necessary.

Off the parking lot, there is an accessible picnic table.
