Amazing Race Challenge

Do you like a challenge? Do you enjoy hiking or trail running? Do you kayak? Are you able to complete mental challenges quickly and accurately? If so, you are invited to celebrate National Trails Day with us by participating in our “Amazing Race”-style event.

This challenge is held each year at Crowder and takes place on the park's trails and lake. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the lake parking lot, and the challenge starts at 8:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, and spectators are welcome to cheer on participants from the lake parking lot. 

Preregistration is required and must be completed by June 4. To register, or for more information, call the park office at 660-359-6473. 

Check-in time: 8 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Race time: 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.
