Battle of Lexington State Historic Site is pleased to announce the return of its biennial Civil War Candlelight Hospital Tours after a three-year hiatus. On Saturday, Oct. 7, the public is invited to come and experience what conditions might have been like in the field hospital during the Civil War battle that took place at the site from Sept. 18-20, 1861. Tours will be offered every 30 minutes between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. and will last about 30 minutes each.

A limited number of tickets will be sold for these tours, and there is a maximum of 20 people per tour time. Tickets are required for this event. The cost is $5 apiece for ages 6 and up; children 5 and under get in free with an adult. Tickets will be available both online and in person at the visitor center starting Sept. 7.
