Come out to the park on New Year's Day for a guided hike on Deer Run Trail. This 2.5-mile trail allows hikers to see bluffs along the Meramec River, as well as dolomite woodlands and glades and the entrance to Cathedral Cave.
The trail is considered moderately difficult. Participants are encouraged to wear good hiking shoes and bring water and snacks.
