2/22/2025 | Mastodon State Historic Site | Imperial, MO
Our interpreters have a lot of knowledge to share. Join us in the auditorium to learn about some of our favorite topics in one or more of our Interp Chat programs.
Each Interp Chat starts at 2 p.m. and includes a brief introductory-level presentation and time for questions. These events are free and do not require registration. All are welcome, but younger children may not find the presentations engaging.
Series schedule:
- Saturday, Feb. 22: Invasive Plants of Missouri – Learn about the invasive species that overwhelm our natural areas and what you can do to stop them.
- Saturday, March 29: Prescribed Burns – Listen to some of our experiences from the fire line, and learn how and why we conduct prescribed burns.
- Sunday, April 13: Global Archaeology – Learn about some of the lesser-known – but equally important – archaeological sites around the world.
For more information, call the site office at 636-464-2976.
Program times: 2 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
