Park Information
Beginning Jan. 8, Missouri Route 64A, which runs through the park, will be temporarily closed due to construction work on the Missouri Department of Conservation fish hatchery. This closure is expected to last six weeks and will extend east from the stone bridge to just past the nature center and will divide the park into two sections. The park campgrounds and the section of stream west of the closure will be accessible by a signed detour directing motorists to use Missouri Route 32 and Route OO in Laclede and Dallas counties.
Please be advised that there is an effort to control the vulture population underway at Bennett Spring State Park. Guests may hear loud noises in the park Monday through Friday throughout the off-season. Please be sure to follow closure signs and posted notices at trailheads and other areas for your safety.
The park needs your help removing invasive species. Call the naturalist at 417-532-3925 to learn more.
