First Day Hike

1/1/2024 | Wakonda State Park | La Grange, MO

Join Ranger Fohey on New Year's Day for a 1.9-mile guided hike on Jasper Lake Trail at Wakonda State Park. Jasper Lake Trail is a moderately difficult trail that allows visitors the chance to see bald eagles and a variety of waterfowl.

The hike will begin at the Jasper Lake parking lot at 10 a.m. Participants should bring water and dress for the weather.

This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
