Interpretive Programs

at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park

Enjoy interpretive programs on Saturday nights, June through August, in the campground amphitheater. Stop by the visitor center for times and subject matter. Also June through August, you can work to earn your Missouri State Parks and Historic Sites Explorer Program patch by participating in activities on Saturdays and Sundays inside the visitor center. These activities are for all ages. To explore on your own, stop by the visitor center to pick up Explorer activities that you can do while spending the day in the park.

Attention teachers! Local schools can make arrangements for interpretive programs to be presented at the school or during a field trip to the park. To schedule a program, contact the park naturalist at the visitor center at 636-458-3813.

In addition, several fun and family-friendly special events are offered annually. They include Bug Day, which celebrates the wondrous world of insects. Call the visitor center for times, locations and details about all of the special events.
