Along the McAdoo Trail are two designated primitive pack-in/pack-out campsites. The campsites are located 0.2 miles from the McAdoo Trail trailhead, however if the gate is closed it is approximately .5 to the campsites (directions below). Each site offers a campfire ring, picnic table, lantern post and horse hitching high line. No potable water is available.
Campsites are available April through October and rent for $10 per night. Rules apply. Contact Knob Noster State Park for availability and registration details.
The McAdoo Trail’s trailhead is located near Camp Bobwhite off Hwy DD. Follow the white connector color along the McAdoo Trail for approximately .2 miles, the campsites are on the right.
