Along the McAdoo Trail are two designated primitive pack-in/pack-out campsites. The campsites are located 0.2 miles from the McAdoo Trail trailhead; however, if the gate is closed, it is approximately 0.5 miles to the campsites (directions below). Each site offers a campfire ring, picnic table, lantern post and horse hitching high line. No potable water is available.

Campsites are available April through October and rent for $10 per night. Rules apply. Contact Knob Noster State Park for availability and registration details.

Directions:

The McAdoo Trail’s trailhead is located near Camp Bobwhite off Highway DD. Follow the white connector color along the McAdoo Trail for approximately 0.2 miles; the campsites are on the right.
