On Saturday, Sept. 28, Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park will host its second annual Archaeology Day. Various tables and stations will be set up at the large shelter house. Activities will include atlatl throwing, archaeological crafts and archaeology in a box.
People of all ages will enjoy this exciting and educational event. Be sure to bring a picnic lunch and your excitement for archaeology! This event is free and open to the public.
