Learn how to select, care for and use a Dutch oven to produce great tasting food while enjoying the outdoors. Participants will receive hands-on experience cooking a four-course meal in the ovens. We will make homemade bread, an entrée, a side dish and a dessert.
This workshop will be held at shelter B and is free. Proper maintenance of these unique camp fire ovens will be taught. Instructor Brad Hanson will hold this workshop. Dress accordingly for the outdoors. This workshop is limited to 20 participants and reservations are needed. Call the nature center at 417-532-3925 to reserve your spot.
