Friday
  • 5:30 p.m. - Nature Table- Pool Entrance
    Join park naturalists at the pool entrance to learn about reptiles and view displays.
  • 7 p.m.  – Reptile Nature Table – Campground Amphitheater
    Join park naturalist at the table by the campground playground to learn more about cold-blooded, slithering friends found here at Washington State Park.
Saturday
  • 2 p.m.  – Petroglyph and Glade Tour- Petroglyph Site
    This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out onto the glade, where visitors will learn about life on this landscape.
  • 4 p.m.  – Nature Hour: Bear Aware - Swimming Pool Entrance
    Join park naturalists to learn more about black bears and their return to Missouri. We will have various bear items.
  • 7 p.m. – Campground Safety – Campground amphitheater
    Learn all the dos and don’ts of camping and what precautions should be taken when staying in nature.
Sunday
  • 9 a.m. – Nature Hour - Playground
    Join the park naturalist for a fun nature craft while mom and dad pick up camp!
