Weekend Events

Friday
  • 5 p.m. – Nature Table - Pool Entrance
    Stop by the nature table to see what cool stuff the interpretive staff are showing off and learn more about the park. This weekend is all about camping with your four-legged friend!
  • 7 p.m.  – Pet Parade – Campground Amphitheater
    Show off your adorable pet throughout the campground at the pet parade! Fun and festive costumes are a plus! All friendly pets are welcome; leashes required.
Saturday
  • 2 p.m. – Petroglyph and Glade Tour- petroglyph site
    This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out onto the glade, where visitors will learn about life on this landscape.
  • 4 p.m. – Doggie Day Hike – Showerhouse
    Leash up your pup and meet the park naturalist at the showerhouse for an approximate 1-mile hike on part of Opossum Track Trail. All friendly pups are welcome; leashes required. Hike will begin and end in the campground.                                                                                                                                    
  • 7 p.m. – Doggie Do’s and Don’ts and Talent Show– Campground amphitheater
    Join the park naturalists to learn how to make camping the safest and most enjoyable for you and your pet. Afterward, show off your dog’s talent at the trick talent show!
Sunday
  • 9 a.m.– Nature Hour- Playground
    Join the park naturalists at the picnic table by the playground to make your very own nature journal!
