First Day Hike - Mooner's Hollow Trail

Join the naturalist to start the New Year off on the right foot. Hikers will encounter a few steep, rocky hills, a couple of water crossings, dolomite glades and hilltop vistas. This is a moderate hike and hikers should wear sturdy footwear and dress accordingly. Leashed dogs are welcome provided they are respectful to other hikers and dogs and cleaned up after. The hike should take about two hours and cover 2.8 miles of trail. If the threat of inclement weather is forecast, please call the park office at 573-358-2173.

Hike time: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Meeting Location: Mooner's Hollow Trail trailhead near Shelter 1
