Come explore the night sky at the park. The evening will kick off at the visitor center with a one-hour program called “The All-American Eclipse Comes to Missouri.” After the program, members of the St. Louis Astronomical Society will set up telescopes in the monument field to offer visitors a view of the night sky. Telescopes will be pointed at a variety of sites, including the first quarter moon; Jupiter and its moons; and the many star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Everyone is encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and binoculars.
