1/1/2014 | Mark Twain State Park | Florida, MO
The hike will begin at the Post Oak Trail trailhead and will also cover White Oak Trail for a total of about 1.5 miles. You will see the lake, plenty of deer, turkey and often times eagles in January. The hike follows the contours of the lake, including some relatively hilly areas. In the event of a winter storm, call the park first to make sure the park is accessible before traveling to the park. Water is available at a frost free hydrant at campsite # 1.
Hike time: 1 p.m.
Meeting location: First shower house in the campground, just past campsite #1 and the check station
