Hours of Operation
Entrance to the park, historic site and visitor center is free. There are fees for guided tours of the historic buildings, camping and reservation of the shelter house and church.

Tours begin on the hour. Mill tours are given on the even
hours (10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) and house tours
are on the odd hours (11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.).
Visitors must be with a tour guide to enter the house or mill. Tours are limited to 15 people per group.
Pets are not allowed in the visitor center, on the grounds of the historic site or in the historic buildings.
Group tours may be scheduled on weekdays by calling 816-580-3387 two weeks or more in advance. Fees are discounted for pre-scheduled groups with 15 or more fee-paying members ($3 for adults and $1.50 for children 6-12). School groups are especially popular in the spring and fall, so please be sure to call well in advance to set up a tour for your school class, Scout group, club or organization.
Pony Truss Bridge Picnic Area is open year-round. Hill Top Picnic Area is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Fox Hunt Picnic Area is closed during 2010.
