Brogan's Trail

  • Hiking

Length: .50 Mile View map

Brogans' Trail is named after the footwear commonly worn by Civil War soldiers.  The trail is relatively flat for a healthy short exercise hike. Built in 2010, the trail makes use of an area of the historic site that has been touched by mining as well as a forested area along the East Branch of Knob Creek.

While the surfacing of the trail is mostly gravel, occasionally, due to weather, mud and dirt may be present.

You may experience:

  • Natural surface, dirt, mud, gravel, shifting rocks, slippery surface, etc.
  • Rocks, roots and/or downed vegetation on trail
  • Occasional water over trail
