From Kansas City
Travel east on I-70 to U.S. Hwy. 63. Take U.S. Hwy. 63 south to U.S. Hwy. 54. Take U.S. Hwy. 54 west toward Jefferson City. Take the Capitol Ave. exit and turn left. Continue on Capitol Ave. until reaching the state Capitol. The Missouri State Museum is located in the Capitol; Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is located just past the Capitol on Jefferson St.
From St. Louis
Travel west on I-70 to U.S. Hwy. 54. Take U.S. Hwy. 54 west to Jefferson City. Take the Capitol Ave. exit and turn left. Continue on Capitol Ave. until reaching the state Capitol. The Missouri State Museum is located in the Capitol; Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is located just past the Capitol on Jefferson St.
From Lake of the Ozarks
Travel east on U.S. Hwy. 54 to Jefferson City. Take the Madison St. exit. Travel on Madison St. until reaching Capitol Ave. Turn left onto Capitol Ave. To visit Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, turn right at the next intersection (Jefferson St.). To visit the state Capitol or Missouri State Museum, continue on Capitol Ave. until reaching the state Capitol.
