The Meramec River is one of the most diversified rivers in North America. More than half of the fish species in Missouri are found in the Meramec River. All three of the black bass can be fished, along with catfish, panfish and trout. Anglers can enjoy fishing on the Meramec River from sunrise to sunset. Fishing is prohibited on any nearby ponds.
Regulations are subject to change, refer to the Wildlife Code of Missouri.
Boat LaunchRoute 66 State Park provides a boat ramp for easy access to the Meramec River. There are no fees for use of the ramp. Ramp users must exit the park before gate closure time; gates no longer allow automatic exit after closure.
