INFORMATIONAL MEETING AT THOUSAND HILLS STATE PARK IS JUNE 11
JEFFERSON CITY, MO., MAY 27, 2008 - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting Wednesday, June 11, to discuss issues related to Thousand Hills State Park near Kirksville. The meeting is 6 to 7 p.m. at the park's Point Shelter House. The public is invited.
Park staff will be available to answer questions concerning the park and current operating plans. Visitors will be invited to share comments about the park and its operations.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on services and facilities in state parks and historic sites.
Thousand Hills State Park is located west of Kirksville on Route 6 and south two miles on Highway 157.
