Wild Edibles Walk

5/6/2023 | Sam A. Baker State Park | Patterson, MO

Wild edibles surround us in nature and can make delicious additions to our tables. Join a park naturalist for a leisurely stroll along the popular Shut-Ins Trail to learn about the types of wild edible plants, how to identify them, their medicinal and edible uses, and some historical folklore related to them.

The walk will begin at the Mudlick Trail trailhead, located across Highway 143 from the park store.

Participants are asked to refrain from picking the plants and wandering off the trail.

Event Time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
