Celebrate the end of fall and the beginning of the winter holiday season with Breakfast with Santa and a Turkey Trot hike at Washington State Park.
Friends of Washington State Park is co-hosting the event and will kick off the day with breakfast and photos with Santa at 9 a.m. Breakfast will be available for purchase between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at $6 per plate and will take place at the historic CCC Ridge Shelter #1. Holiday pictures with kids and families will be available in this rustic stone shelter setting with an on-site photographer.
At 11:30 a.m., park interpretive staff will lead a guided hike. The Turkey Trot will cover portions of 1000 Steps Trail, exploring the park’s natural and cultural resources in the area near the shelter. The hike will start at CCC Ridge Shelter #1 and last approximately one hour, traversing natural surface terrain. Please dress accordingly for this outdoor experience.
