8/4/2015 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Prehistoric people hunted giant animals by using what is considered the first reloading weapon, an atlatl and dart. Come learn more about how native people created their hunting tools and the ice age animals that they hunted.

The Missouri State Museum continues its “Tuesdays@2” series in August. “Tuesdays @ 2" is a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri's cultural and natural history specifically focused on age groups 8 to 12 years using more activity-based programming. For similar-themed programming for younger children, please see our regular "Learning @ 11" programs for age groups 4 to 7.
