Tuesdays @ 2: How about an 1850s Pizza?

From June 2 through Aug. 22, the Missouri State Museum is once again hosting a fun twist on summer programming. “Tuesdays @ 2" is a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri's cultural and natural history specifically focused on age groups 8 to 12 years using more activity-based programming. For similar-themed programming for younger children, please see our regular "Learning @ 11" programs for age groups 4 to 7. The programs will be held on the first floor of the State Capitol. How about an 1850s Pizza? Almost everyone loves pizza but did they even have pizza in the 1850s? Learn about the ingredients in today’s pizza, and if they were available in the 1850s.
