Museum After Hours: Ice Age in Missouri

4/1/2015 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Mastodons, saber-toothed cats, giant sloths and many more large creatures walked the earth during our last glaciation, but did you know we are still in an Ice Age?  Come in out of the cold and learn about our last glacial period and what the future might hold for us. The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri State Capitol. Click here to read the news release.

The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month.  In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m.
