Attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new 4.5-mile water trail. The ceremony will be held in the beach parking lot near the trailhead and boat rental. After the ceremony, visitors will have the opportunity to paddle the new water trail on Peabody Lake. The ceremony is in conjunction with National Trails Day. Peabody Lake provides visitors the opportunity to enjoy the park by canoe or kayak. A limited number of kayaks and canoes will be available for rent.
Event time: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
