Learn everything you ever wanted to know and more about woodpeckers. Come to the historic site for woodpecker target-trapping followed by a presentation by Ethan Duke and Dana Ripper of the Missouri River Bird Observatory on the woodpeckers of Missouri. Duke and Ripper will also discuss their work with other woodpeckers across the country. Learn about hairy woodpeckers in Washington state, red-cockaded woodpeckers in Florida, and pileated and ivory-billed woodpeckers in Arkansas.
