Kids Learn to Kayak

Activities Planned

  • Kids of all ages are welcome to come and learn how to safely kayak for free.  All instructors are certified by the American Canoe Association.  All equipment will be provided.  This eventt will be held at the park's lake. Meet at the picnic shelter. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
  • Kids bookmark making will take place at the picnic shelter. Kids will use natural dyes to dye wool yarn and weave a bookmark to take home!
  • There will be free Onondaga Cave tours to anyone under the age of 18 with a paying adult.

Event time: 1 p.m.

Cave tours available: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
