03/18/2012 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

The Missouri State Museum is partnering with the Missouri Women’s History Blog to host a “Pioneering Missouri Women” tour of the State Capitol. The tour will focus on Missouri women as pioneers in culture (Gable, Rogers, Baker), education (Duchesne, Blow, Wilder) and activism (suffrage, wartime nurses). Tours will begin at the tour desk on the first floor rotunda of the State Capitol. The program will be presented by “Missouri Women,” which was founded in 2009 with the theme “Women of the Past, Inspiring Women of Today.” For more information on the co-sponsor, the Missouri Women’s History Blog, please visit www.missouriwomen.org.
