Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B of Macon will be hosting a 5K Run/Walk to raise money for Special Olympics of Missouri. Event registration will begin at 6 a.m. at the North Shelter at the park. Preregistration will take place at 7 a.m., and the race will start at 8 a.m. The 3.1-mile course will begin and conclude at the North Shelter. After the race is over, refreshments will be served to the athletes, and an award ceremony will take place at the shelter. All proceeds raised will help support the Special Olympics of Missouri.
