Clark's Hill Trail -- hiking and interpretive

A moderately steep, one-half mile trail takes visitors along a bluff above the Missouri River to an overlook, passing by two Indian mounds that Clark wrote about in his journal along with three additional mounds discovered at the site. The rock where Clark once stood and the location of the crew's campsite below along the banks of the Missouri River can be seen from the overlook.  Interpretive signs identical to those along the trail are available at the trailhead.
