at Van Meter State Park

Van Meter State Park offers basic and electric campsites. Services include reservable sites, modern restrooms, showers and water. The showerhouse is open April 15 through Oct. 31.

The campground is open year-round. Reservations can be made for stays during the on-season (April 15 through Oct. 31).

Cutting and collecting firewood is not allowed in the park. Firewood is available for sale. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Campers planning to carry in firewood must comply with current firewood advisories.
