Favorite places to camp

Several folks have asked what's the best place to camp. Here's some of our favorite campsites:

Pomme de Terre State Park, campsite #228 Hermitage Campground - Lakeside electric site that has shade and is a good distance from other campsites

Harry S Truman State Park, campsite #38 Raccoon Ridge Campground - Lake view electric site with good shade and easy access to the lake

Wakonda State Park, Campsite #103, new sewer/electric/water campsite that is located right on the lake with good access for your canoe or kayak

Mark Twain State Park, Campsite #74 Puma Campground, this electric campsite is the most popular in the park with plenty of shade and a lake view

Meramec State Park, Campsite #180, extra large campsite with plenty of shade located across the road from the Meramec River

Sam A. Baker State Park, Campsite 188, shady electric site in the recently renovated section of Campground 2, located within easy walking distance of Big Creek
